The envisioning exercise for southeastern New Brunswick, commissioned by the Southeast Regional Service Commission, aims to create a vision for the future by proposing three different growth scenarios. A Look Forward to 2035
In late 2024, the Southeast Regional Service Commission commissioned Jupia Consultants Inc. to create the Vision 2035 report series, which provided the 12 municipalities and the Southeast Rural District with customized population growth scenarios to help councils project workforce demand, sustain local services, and leverage economic opportunities through 2035. Rather than acting as a summary of these individual community assessments, this final report synthesizes the collective data to present a clear, overarching argument regarding the region’s future risks, opportunities, and imperatives.
